Three Endangered Turtles Rescued in Cornwall - an Inspiring Story of Survival and Hope

Three turtles have been rescued from the beaches of Cornwall after being washed up during heavy storms. The creatures had been stranded on the shoreline and needed help to survive. The Westcountry Wildlife Care Centre responded to a call from a concerned beachgoer, who spotted the turtles in distress.

The centre's trained volunteers identified the species as an endangered green sea turtle, loggerhead turtle, and Kemp's ridley turtle. They provided emergency medical care to rehydrate and nourish the two adult animals and one juvenile turtle. Injured sea birds were also cared for this week at the centre.

Thanks to round-the-clock care, the three turtles are now said to be making a recovery and will soon make their return journey back into the wild ocean. The team at the centre are appealing for donations as they receive no government funding and rely heavily on donations to continue their work in rescuing wildlife.
