Antonio Brown finds himself once again entangled in yet another legal dispute as he faces a lawsuit filed by a jeweler seeking nearly $1.1 million. The jeweler alleges that Brown failed to make a payment for a collection of items provided to him in 2022. Shuki International, a renowned jeweler catering to celebrities, claims to have supplied the former NFL player, now turned rapper, with a selection of jewelry under the agreement that he would settle the payment by December 1, 2022. Regrettably, Brown has yet to fulfill his part of the arrangement, according to the plaintiff. Included in the assortment of items reportedly received by Brown from Shuki are the jeweler's distinctive diamond-encrusted Shuki International finger covers, rose gold black diamond finger covers, a white gold chain, and ring. This lawsuit represents a stark departure from their previous interactions, during which the two seemed to have developed a promising relationship. However, their current legal dispute has overshadowed any prior camaraderie. Following the issuance of an arrest warrant by a judge, payment is still pending. In July 2022, Shuki shared a video on his Instagram account featuring Antonio Brown proudly displaying the distinct finger covers that are now part of the ongoing lawsuit. The footage showed Brown alongside Brother Polight, an author and influential figure on social media. In the caption, the jeweler wrote, "Shuki Diamonds always original worldwide. Ab," accompanied by a series of heart and diamond emojis. During the same year, Brown, known by his rap alias AB, released a single titled "Shuki Diamonds" in homage to the jeweler. The track, featured on his April 2022 album Paradigm, highlights Brown's admiration for the opulent jewelry pieces crafted by Shuki. The lyrics include lines such as "Famous diamonds/ Flawless diamonds/ Shuki diamonds/ Fingers diamonds." Notably, Shuki International is even credited as a guest performer on the song. ![]()
This lawsuit marks the latest addition to a series of both criminal and civil allegations brought against Brown. In October 2022, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneer was ordered to pay Anton Tumanov $1.2 million after failing to appear for hearings related to a lawsuit. The lawsuit stemmed from Tumanov's claim that Brown had assaulted him during a dispute involving a moving company where Tumanov was employed. Additionally, Brown has faced accusations of battery against the mother of his children, although those charges have since been dropped.
