WWE Crown Jewel 2022 Predictions

   With the passing of another year in the WWE and the introduction of a new one, fans are always excited to see who will come out on top at each event.

   Crown Jewel 2022 just around the corner, we wanted to take a look at who could be leaving Saudi Arabia with gold. Below are our predictions for who will crowned champion this time around.

Universal Championship

​   The current reigning Universal Champion is Roman Reigns, and it appears that he'll likely have his hands full with all the challengers that will be vying for his title.

   Rumors have already started circulating about opponents such as Bray Wyatt, Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton trying to dethrone "The Big Dog".

   Our prediction is that Reigns manages to retain his championship by seeing off all comers and continuing as Universal Champion until another time.

Intercontinental Championship

   Currently Bobby Lashley holds the Intercontinental Championship and looks set to stay in control for some time yet. However there are several talented Superstars coming through NXT that could challenge him on the night.
​
   We think it's highly possible that a star from NXT such as Karrion Kross or Finn Balor could come in hot and steal the title from Lashley proving themselves as true contenders within the WWE Universe.

Women's Tag Team Championship

   The Women's Tag Team Championships were recently introduced after WrestleMania 32 as an attempt by WWE to showcase some of their female talent over on Raw.

   In recent months we've seen Sasha Banks team up with Bayley in an effort to hold both titles at once with limited success so far.

   We predict that Banks & Bayley still have what it takes to outlast any competition they face at Crown Jewel and leave Saudi Arabia still holding those championships tightly.

​Cruiserweight Championship

​   The Cruiserweight division has been gaining traction ever since its revamping several years ago, and now finds itself firmly embedded in 205 Live shows every week.

   Currently Akira Tozawa holds the title but many challengers looking for a shot at glory also occupy this weight class such as Lince Dorado, Cedric Alexander, Oney Lorcan and Gran Metalik.

   Our prediction is that Tozawa retains his belt against some stiff competition from these names but hopefully showcases some amazing in-ring action along the way too!
