While it may feel like winter outdoors, it's always spring at Krohn Conservatory in Eden Park. Why not bring the whole family out to Krohn Conservatory's "Bunnies and Blooms" event? This is a brand-new program open daily from 10am - 8pm, where you can view live bunnies and get your fill of springtime fun! Don't miss this perfect opportunity for a day filled with happiness; come on down today. To bring this year's Spring program to life, Conservatory manager Mark House announced a strategic partnership with the Hamilton County Library and Green Eggs and Honey Farm in Anderson Township. The farm graciously provided four bunnies for the event, who hopped about joyfully as families watched in wonderment. Guests had two designated areas where they could play and eat while admiring these delightful animals! Along with being able to view the bunnies, House says there is more fun for kids as well. Mark House joyously stated, "We have partnered with Hamilton County Library to choose a variety of children's books that feature rabbits and each week they will arrive to share the stories with the kids!" Library staff at House have planned a weekly schedule of readings for kids, and the farm's proprietor Ashley Rodriguez-Evens is attempting to make time available from 12PM - 2PM on Wednesdays, Friday evenings, and some weekends so that people can experience an enhanced educational opportunity. Plus you'll get the chance to cuddle with adorable rabbits! With enthusiasm, Rodriguez-Even exclaimed "There is something so special about seeing the kids learn to care for their pet bunnies - it's a great way to reduce stress and help foster emotional wellbeing."
Bunnies and Blooms will last through March 12 at Krohn Conservatory and is $10 for adults, $7 for youth (5-17), and free for kids 4 and under.
